The article considers the essence of intercultural communication in the aspect of business language with illustrative examples of cultural differences. The author analyses situations resulting from misunderstandings which can occur unless you study the culture of your foreign subordinate or partner. The article discusses the concept of professionally-oriented reading in a foreign language crucial for effective communication not only among subordinates.
