THE NEW FRENCH LOANWORDS IN MODERN ENGLISH AT THE ENGLISH LESSONS IN THE SECONDARY SCHOOLS
The article examines practical classroom applications of the new French borrowings in lessons of the English language at school. The teacher has to skillfully select and properly combine various forms and methods of working with authentic material, what makes students learn foreign language with an interest and not get bored in the classroom. Classroom techniques induce students to make acquaintance with different cultures, and give them a clearer idea about the real usage of the acquired knowledge. Teaching vocabulary is not just building vocabulary, but it is also awareness of situational, social and contextual rules, which the native speakers follow.
