This article deals with the problem of adaptability of the certain genres of e-discourse in teaching English. The special attention is given to the methodological value of working with blogs and e-mails at the English lesson. The conclusion based on the research is that these genres of e-discourse are especially efficient in the higher school as means of speech skills development.
