Quality training of professional translators is based on the competence approach. The science of translation which is steadily developing offers a comprehensive analysis of translation, its psychological nature, translation activity mechanisms. Psycholinguistics data not only leads to a deeper understanding of translation, but also allows to model the process of translation and enhance its efficiency.
