Author Guidelines

MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The journal accepts articles written in English or Russian. Submitted manuscripts must meet academic standards, fall within the journal’s thematic scope, demonstrate the topicality, significance, and contribution of the research findings, and be of interest to a wide range of experts and the broader academic community.


GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

All articles must be structured and formatted according to the following requirements.

File format: Microsoft Word (.docx)
Page format: A4
Margins: Top – 61 mm, Bottom – 65 mm, Left and Right – 49 mm, Bottom from page footer – 57 mm
Font: Times New Roman
Font size: 11 pt
Line spacing: Single (1.0)
First-line indent: 0.5 cm
Page orientation: portrait; no page numbers; no hyphenation; use footnotes sparingly
Figures, tables, diagrams: Black-and-white only; no color; cross-hatching permitted


MANUSCRIPTS SUBMITTED IN RUSSIAN

If submitting a manuscript in Russian, please adhere to the following formatting guidelines.

UDC (in Russian): right-aligned, bold; for assistance, refer to teacode.com/online/udc or udk-codes.net
Author’s name: initials and last name, right-aligned, bold
Institution: full name of the university, right-aligned, bold
Article title: capital letters, centered, bold
Abstract (in Russian): in italics, up to 200 words; the abstract must concisely present the research topic, goals, methodology, novelty, and main findings
Keywords (in Russian): in italics, at least 7 terms; general academic and subject-specific terms, arranged from general to specific and relevant to the paper’s content


MANUSCRIPTS SUBMITTED IN ENGLISH

If submitting a manuscript in English, please follow the same structure for both the Russian and English metadata.

UDC: right-aligned, bold
Author’s name: initials and last name, right-aligned, bold
Institution: full name of the university, right-aligned, bold
Article title: capital letters, centered, bold
Abstract (in English): in italics, up to 200 words; the abstract should clearly communicate the topic, objectives, methodology, novelty, and major findings
Keywords (in English): in italics, at least 7 terms; general academic and subject-specific terms, arranged from general to specific and relevant to the paper’s content


MAIN TEXT FORMATTING

Text alignment: Justified
Section headings: According to the structure of academic research (e.g., Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion)
In-text citations: APA style (e.g., Walker, 2007; Bradley, Ramirez, & Soo, 1999). Author names should include initials (e.g., M.V. Lomonosov).
Article length: Up to 6,000 words (approx. 16 pages)


REFERENCES

Regardless of the article’s language, the References section must include both Russian and English versions, each formatted according to its respective standard.

References in Russian must be formatted according to GOST standards; arranged alphabetically and numbered.

References in English must be formatted following the APA requirements.

The references must include at least 30% of non-Russian sources, with an emphasis on recent publications (within the last three years).
All cited sources must be listed in the References, and vice versa.

Submitted with the manuscript. Please include the following information:

    •    full name
    •    academic degree
    •    academic title
    •    institution (University and department/unit)

    •    postal address (including postal code, for journal mailing)

    •    number of copies of the journal required (if applicable)
