Due to the globalization and internetization of society, modern education has to adjust to the rapid development of modern technologies. As a result, traditional educational methods have begun to be supplemented with new teaching techniques and methods, which are based on the use of the telecommunication and Internet technologies. Therefore, education in a virtual environment or, in other words, distance education or came to the fore and began to occupy a leading position among other educational facilities. This reasearch study is an investigation of the scripts and videos of webinars for English language teachers. The main goal is to establish verbal and non-verbal peculiarities of webinars and describe linguosynergetic potential of this new phenomenon. Due to the fact that webinar is a form of a lecture or a seminar that exists in the context of computer-mediated communication, it includes features of both internet and educational discourses. Moreover, interaction of two types of discourses (educational and internet) and features of webinar itself (heterogeneous audience, usage of modern technologies, etc.) forces the lecturer to use the vocabulary connected to the channel of communication, implement idiographic and para-graphic means of non-verbal communication, etc. One of the distinctive features of English webinars for teaching English is the method of communicative interaction (creation of texts with the help of Internet technology and other means, providing interactivity). Also another feature includes the communicative focus, because the text used in a webinar can both include feedback and be one-directional. Moreover, an important distinguishing feature of the English webinar will be its chronotope, because the communication between participants can be carried out in two modes - online and offline.
