When working with foreign students in small groups at University was revealed almost complete lack of motivation and independent activity of the student in the study of Russian as a foreign language in extracurricular time. The purpose of this work is to describe the methodological concept of the project Langteach-online, which allows you to adapt the process of learning the Russian language individually at the request of each student, taking into account his personal qualities, the chosen specialization of higher education, factors of personal motivation in a group learning at the University using information technology. During the formation (development) of the Langteach-online project, the following pedagogical techniques were used: self-acquisition of new knowledge, formation of personal educational trajectory taking into account the interest and direction of training of the student, collection and analysis of the information received, formation of joint collective activity, formation of students' readiness for the use of information and communication technologies in research activities. Methods of data analysis, systematization and visualization of the obtained data are used to publish the results. As a result of research, we have developed and tested a method of teaching foreign students, taking into account the creativity of the individual and the development of self-control skills and independent research activities in Russian. Results of the study is that the described methodological concept in conjunction with the online environment Langteach-online will significantly increase the number of studied materials in one class lasting 2 academic hours, as well as motivate students to organize independent research activities in Russian in extracurricular time.
