The article describes some ways of ensuring continuity and connections  between  children’s  and  student’s learning experience in teaching  foreign languages at school and at university. Special  attention is paid to basic requirements in teaching translation of texts from foreign languages into the native one. In the author’s opinion the Internet and its various facilities can be very helpful.
