THE APPLICATION OF COMPETENCE-BASED APPROACH TO TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN A UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS

The article is devoted to the competence-based approach to teaching a foreign language in a university of economics. The necessity of such  an approach is proved in the article as well as its main points and the advantages in comparison with the traditional approaches to teaching a foreign language in high school are described.
